The AFL is an organisation that is very central to so many Australians. If you look past the crowds and the antics, at heart it's about community with powerful connections across age and geographies. With so much sway. it's pretty cool to see the AFL takes it's influence seriously and step-up to promote change for good - seriously. Below are two key brands we developed with the AFL focusing on Kids & Health and Women + Work opportunities. Both causes we're very proud to support!
HEALTH & FITNESS LITERACY PROGRAM
Coles Healthy Kicks is a fun and entertaining health and fitness program designed specifically to encourage Australian children aged 6 to 12 years old to embrace healthy cooking, mindfulness and exercise. Children can watch the Virtual Program on YouTube or register for the Holiday Program which is being delivered at vacation care sites, nationwide.
We developed a super flexible bold (and beootiful) brand, graphic toolkit and over-arching guidelines.
HEALTHY KICKS IN ACTION
AN INDUSTRY FIRST FOR WOMEN'S SPORT
workplay is a platform that provides a community for female athletes to connect with like-minded organisations and global industry leaders that support their off-field careers. It is currently available to all AFLW players with the intention of expanding it to women athletes of all sporting codes.
Such a GREAT inniative and so pleased to work on this with the amazing team at the AFL.
We developed a strong, non-apologetic logo mark representing the intersection of 'work' and 'play'. Then expanded the brand language to include the crisp, black and white palette; a philosophical representation of the work/play-yin/yang and a nuetral backdrop both. Working well with multiple team and code insignia. Typography and a minimalist graphic symbol language complete a tight brand toolkit.
